Alignment of Curriculum Standards

As the reliance of instructional systems on state tests grows, and more and more aspects of public education, such as performance evaluation of teachers, are made dependent on testing results, even with highly valuable, rich, challenging, rigorous curriculum and excellent instructional delivery, at least an appearance of failure may occur. It has become increasingly imperative for the school districts to ensure that the curriculum, teaching and assessment are aligned with the state testing.
