Paul C. Disario, Ed.D. – Director of District Support Services

Dr. Paul Disario has been a California Chief Business Official since 1979. He has served as the chief financial officer and/or associate/assistant superintendent of business services at eight California district including large urban districts. He is known as one of the most experienced and respected school business official with a track record of success and leadership.

In the consulting capacity, Dr. Disario has conducted various studies including organizational studies including efficiency studies of transportation, food services and technology departments. He has also advised the districts in facilities bond planning, property tax issues and school closure matters. He has provided services in the areas of construction and program management.

During is distinguished career, Dr. Disario has led successful passage of at least six bond measures and tax elections. He was responsible of managing a number of construction programs including the largest facilities program in California’s Central Valley. He has extensive experience in facilities planning, construction and program management as well as asset management.

Dr. Disario was recognized by Association of California School Administration (ACSA) as the Administrator of the Year in 1998. He has also taught at UC Berkeley School of Education from 1989 to 1996. He is the author of CSBA publication titled Board and the Budget.

Dr. Disario earned his bachelor’s degree from Georgetown University and his doctorate from University of Southern California.
